About Dr. Ted Lim, PT, DPT, USAW-2
Dr. Ted Lim started weightlifting and powerlifting in 2010 prior to becoming a physical therapist. After being frustrated with constant injuries and difficulty finding a local physical therapist with a background in strength sports he decided to change careers from the corporate world to physical therapy.
Now he combines his love of strength sports and physical therapy to deliver effective rehab to help strength athletes to return to pain-free training as fast as possible.
He has helped dozens of national and international level weightlifters and powerlifters rehab injuries and pain.
Ted has also been coaching weightlifting and powerlifting since 2015.
- Coached an athlete (D. Irizarry) to IWF Senior World Championships for Team USA
- USAW Senior National Champions
- Many athletes to qualify for Senior National and American Open Finals
- Coached powerlifters to qualifying and competing at USAPL Raw Nationals
- A strongman to qualify for Strongman Natural Worlds
As well as rehabbing dozens of national and international level weightlifters and powerlifters.
Hobbies: Lifting, reading fantasy books, trying new local restaurants, and interior decor.
Education
Dr. Theodore Lim, PT, DPT, graduated from University of Saint Augustine, Austin with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Prior to that he also earned a bachelor degree in Economics at the University of California, Irvine.
He now works as a sports physical therapist in Austin, Texas.
