Do you take insurance?

We do not take insurance. This is to give you the best care possible.

Clinics who take insurance often rely on taking multiple patients at once, or give shorter sessions per patient. There is also far more paperwork involved. This means the physical therapist can provide less care to your needs due to needing to spend time on other patients and on paperwork. Every year, insurance deductibles increase and reimbursement decreases, meaning clinics will be able to devote even less attention to patients even though patients are paying even more in copays and costs.

The common end result to you is more visits to the clinic, more copay payments, and an overall higher cost of insurance-based physical therapy than fee-for-service private practice.

Depending on your insurance provider, you may be able to use out of network benefits which can help you cover part of your treatment.

How does this help you?

If you have a high deductible or copay, The Kilo Physio will likely cost less in the long-run because we aim to provide the high-quality care with as few visits as possible. This means less time needed to go to physical therapy sessions, getting better faster, with less financial costs.

If applicable, bring your previous medical history, MRI/x-rays, list of medications, and surgical history. If you are an athlete coming for physical therapy or athlete optimization, please bring appropriate gear for lifting.

Please bring your typical lifting clothes and equipment. We may occasionally need to see the area of treatment so please dress as needed.

We operate on a hybrid model which heavily emphasize effective communication. After the initial session, either in-person or video call, we will communicate remotely to create the most responsive effective rehab programming possible, with programming updated weekly. This means in-person visits are not needed and is typically redundant. This has been the most effective method for helping patients, while increasing flexibility and decreasing the cost for the patient. Most patients need one or two months, and in rare cases three months.

You do not need a referral for the evaluation.

We specialize in strength athletes with any sort of musculoskeletal pain or injury.

You will need to check with your health insurance provider to determine if out of network outpatient physical therapy services are covered under your plan.

Text (512) 730-1984 to cancel or reschedule 24 hours before your appointment.
